I recently found some new money making opportunities called "Search & Win" sites. These sites are just as good as Google and Yahoo, except they have one thing those others don't have: Prizes for searching! If you do constant searching throughout the day, why not get rewarded for it?
1. Don't OVERSEARCH- They hate this. Just search as you normally would....just don't search constantly for things you don't care for JUST to earn points.
2. Join Them All- The more you join, the more possibilities of winning (some of them reward with instant win prizes instead of points or virtual money).
3. Add their Quicksearch toolbars- If you are like me and joined them all, you can't very well have them ALL as your HomePage....so the Quicksearch bar (on firefox, it's to the right of the URL bar) is the next best thing.
4. Search Every One at the Same Time- Open a blank page for each search and win site...type the phrase you want to search for in the quicksearch bar for Each site...click the search icon (magnify glass) and each site will have searched for the same item. That way you can maximize your searching by getting some different listings AS WELL AS possible wins on each site!
Swagbucks- Get 5 Swagbucks upon completing registration. Swagbucks is their currency to redeem for gift cards and other prizes. Refer others and follow their twitter page to earn more Swagbucks. They even have a Shop & Earn section...so if you shop online already, use Swagbucks and earn on shopping! I already have 26 Swagbucks and I just barely joined about 2 weeks ago. I am almost on my way to redeem a $5 Amazon e-gift card for 45 Swagbucks or even better, a $10 Starbucks card for 130 Swagbucks!
MySearchBonus- Each time you search, you recieve a point...make sure you don't search too fast or you might not recieve credit for it. You can refer friends for more points. Their rewards are mostly Gift Cards (which are great IMO). A $10 Amazon.com GC is worth 1000 points...and I have about 80 points at the moment...slowgoing, but if you just use it regularly, you'll reach 1000 points in no time!
Blingo and PCH Search&Win- Both are sponsored by Publisher's Clearing House and are strictly Search and WIn....meaning, no points system. Every day you search on these 2 sites (make sure you're signed in) you'll receive an entry into a SuperPrize from Publishers Clearing House. Your first 25 searches will also qualify you to win the featured prizes of the day instantly. Refer friends on Blingo, and if they win, you'll win that prize too!
Lucky Search- Earn points for searching. Invite your friends, and when they win, you win too! You can also Shop thru them and earn points...if your friends shop trhu them, you earn points. You see, there are lots of incentives/ways to earn points here.
Scour- Another point system. Get 50 points just for signing up. Their search engine is a bit more interactive with user comments about each listing with vote options too. This feature allows users to see how other users rate the website listed. It's pretty kool. Refer your friends to make more $$!
Winzy- Earn points/prizes for: Searching, Playing Games, Inviting Friends, and Ask/Answers Questions. Each quarter, they enter your pints (which are like raffle tickets) into their quarterly drawing...ther more points you have, the better chance of winning the Grand Prize!
